Packaging

Packaging is important: it protects products, provides key information and facilitates transport and storage. At the same time, packaging is placing an increasing burden on our environment. We are therefore constantly working to make our packaging more sustainable, whilst taking into account the quality requirements of our products; to provide transparent information about producers, manufacturers and distributors, as well as the materials used; and to avoid outer packaging wherever possible.

As disposal regulations may vary depending on the region and country, we recommend checking with the relevant local authorities.

Shipping packaging

To keep shipping volumes to a minimum, we use shipping boxes in various sizes. These are made of corrugated cardboard/kraft liner and, where possible, are designed to have an automatic closure to avoid the need for additional adhesive. For large parcels or folding boxes, we use PVC/PP packing tape, PP strapping or stretch film to ensure the safe transport of goods.

Product packaging

Our product packaging for core products such as compression garments consists largely of cardboard and paper – materials that are recycled particularly frequently compared to many other packaging materials. Our bespoke products are deliberately supplied in plastic bags with press-seal closures made from recycled plastic, as this significantly reduces the shipping volume and ensures faster patient care through easier handling. For our additional products, we also use plastic packaging such as tubes where this is unavoidable due to the product’s characteristics.

Find out more here about the materials we use, labelling and abbreviations, which we provide in accordance with the requirements of the Packaging Act and the EU Packaging Directive (PPWR).

In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2025/40 on Packaging and Packaging Waste (PPWR), we consider ourselves producers of the products we manufacture and place on the market.
